realm
aggressiveness that seeks to dominate and
diminish?..

provide for yourself
the deeply comfortable and
comforting
rocking chair
of kindness
gentleness
tenderness?
such tenderness...
can you avail yourself of the rhythmic
motion
the ongoing lullaby
of this ever-so-comfortable
and comforting
rocking chair
suffusing you with
tenderness received?
can you allow the
barbed wire
of unskillful and unkind
words and
action
that might exist in your midst
to fall away
naturally
as it receives this greater power
of love?
can you let go and
receive
the universe’s expression of
tenderness
just for you
in this moment?
